Inviting in laws- who should sponser

Hi,
I'm on H1-b and my wife is also on H1 b(she was on h4 before but now got the job and has been working for few months). we are thinking about inviting my in-laws to US. So, now question is who should send invitation, should my wife send that or it will make more sense if i send the invitation and supporting docs.?

second question-If I'm sponsering I would prefer not send all my previous years tax info, or in other words don't want to send more than needed finanical info. so, what are must send docs?

I'll appreciate a quick response, as we need to send those quick.

If your wife started working recently, better you sponsor their visa and you can send her financial docs, employee docs etc.
Well, I have nothing to answer, if you want to sponsor and does want to send your financial docs
