  • Ticket is not confirmed. I-94 going to expire. What should I do?

    Hi All,

My Parents came from India 6 months ago. They already have Multiple Entry Visa.

They were supposed to leave back to India on Oct 28th. Due to some ticket booking confusion, they were not able to leave and they are on waiting list for 2 flights on Nov 2nd (Different Timings of same airlines -> SING).

My question is : Their I-94 is going to expire on Nov 3rd. What-if the tickets are not confirmed for Nov 2nd for both the flights? I need to extend their I-94. But when I checked online it shows "It should be applied between about 4 to 6 weeks before I-94 expires" (https://www.immihelp.com/visitors-visa-extension/. What should I do now?

    I would appreciate any suggestion.

    Thanks,
    Gita

That is just the general guideline.

In your case, you should apply extension right away.
