Reagarding birtcertificate

Hi,

We are trying to get visitor visa for my parents.

I have 1 question,
In my birth certficate my place of birth is the hospital's place.

But all of my records like sslc, passport etc having the place of bith as my permanent place.

what we have to do for that?? Taking First page of my sslc book as secondary document is enough for that??

plz help me.

Just go by the place of birth as written in the birth certificate.

Sponsoring Visa for wifes sister

Hi

wanted to know whether I can sponsor visa for my wife's sister and her family. I've been in the US for last 4 years on H1. Also let me know if it would increase there chances if they self sponsor themselves

Anyway,
*Yes, it will increase their chances if they self sponsor.
But they should have enough income to qualify for self-sponsorship,Rs. 10 lacs per year or more.

*More important issue is your wife's sis's family's circumstances in India;
their annual income, family ties to India. It is advisable that, the husband
should not apply, your wife's sis and kids should apply to visit her sister (your wife) in US for 2 months ( kids' summer vacation) and your wife should send an invitation letter only if they are self sponsoring.
