Hi,
My in-laws have a few doubts
1.) If the Visa Officer asks my in-laws to show the sponsor's documents do they have to submit every document that I have sent them and that is mentioned on: https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visitor...sor-documents/
Or do they have to submit only the I-134, employment letter and immigration status papers and wait to be asked for the rest?
2.) They will be submitting the original DS-156 at the VFS center in Pune prior to their interview. So they will not have that application when they go for the Bombay consulate interview.
So is there any other documents that they need to hand to the Visa Officer as soon as they are called?
For example: The answer to Q. 34 on the FAQ page of the vfs website states:
"US based sponsors of non-immigrant visa applicants can complete a Department of Justice Affidavit of Support known as Form I-134, which should be submitted by the applicant at the time of the interview with a Consular Officer."
Does this mean that the applicants must submit the I-134 even before the Visa officer asks for it?
Many thanks.
