  • Visitor Visa-Help needed

I with my wife would like to visit US on Visitor visa.I have taken early retirement and my wife is also not working, although we have income arising our of stock market and other savings and both of us file income tax returns regularly. Our daughter went on F1 visa 3 yrs back ,completed her MBA there and now is on H1B visa there.Recently our son also went on F1 visa for persuing MS.My elder brother who is a doctor himself and US citizen since last 20 yrs.( He has been detected Cancer and is under treatment there)

1 How can we take same visa appointment date and time together for both of us ?
2 Does the interview will be seperate for both of us
3 Whether we need to prepare papers seperately for both of us in case of common property, deposits etc.
4 How can we convince that we will return back to India although we have above realtions in US.
5 Is it ok if we show we will support ourselves from our family funds.
6 Can we give reason of visit as to see my brother who is sick and also to meet my children.
7 We never visited any other country although we had many chances in past.--can this reason valid to prove we will not stay there.

Thanks and expecting your valuable tips.

    hi,
i will try to answer your questions here,
1.you can take appointment on the site for both of you at same time check out there is option available, you have to pay fees for both of you seperately and receipt numbers seperately and then take appt on the site.
2.yes, you both can attend interview at same time .
3.tell them you have relatives and business in india and you are very attached to india and at this age it is not possible for you to adjust in any other country leaving your friends and family.
4.you can show the property papers if asked ,you need not do them seperately.
5.you can tell them abt your brothers illness and maybe show some proof if required(doctor reports ) and tell them you want to visit him .

good luck for your visa!! i hope you get it

Yes you can show proof of your brother's sickness. The VOs are sympathetic and will grant visa. The only look for prospective immigrants and are careful.
You may show sufficient Bank balance in your account.

is the website where you can fill in application..

ask you daughter in USA to fill in application from this site and make appoinment and send the details to you.

when filling appliation, it will ask anyone travelling together, and you can fill in another application for ur wife..
