First I like to say thanks to immihelp.com for all the valuable information provided which made the sponsor's and traveler’s life very easy.
As per the given checklist for Visitor visa, I have sent all the documents to my parents for the Chennai consulate stamping on April 11 2008.
The documents I have sent have separate DS156, I-134,Visa stamping appointment letter, Visa Fees receipt, Covering letter, Affidavit, Employment letter and Bank letter for each.
Along with the above, I have also sent the common supporting documents like Invitation letter, Issuance of Visitors Visa, Last 6 months Bank Statements, full copy of my passport, my address proof, my H1 documents etc.
The question I have is, what mandatory documents they need to submit to Visa Officer and the remaining they only submit upon request and also the order in which they need to keep these mandatory documents for submitting.
I like to help my parents in creating two separate set of documents, one set of mandatory documents which need to be submitted to Visa Officer for interview and other set of documents which need to be submitted only upon request.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
