Visitor Visa: Inviter Documents

I am a F1 student and I am inviting my parents to US.
I followed the instructions for preparing 'inviter documents'.
I heard from friends that I need a sign from 'Notary public' .
My bank issued a bank statement and balance sheets for past few months on their letter pad.

Is this required. If so , which form should be sent as a inviter with the 'notary public' sign ?

You need to sign on I-134 with a public notary as a witness.

You no longer need to get Form I-134 notarized.
