Brother visiting SISTER, Invitation required/not, PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP

hello everyone,

i have read a lot about sponsorship and invitation, but still have doubt about one thing.

my age is 28 years (never married)working I will be applying for a visitor visa and my appointment is on 8th May 09. although i would be funding my trip on my own, i have mentioned my real sisters name in the question> where will u stay during ur visit. also have mentioned that my sister is a permanent resident of US.

My question is that do i have to get an invitation letter or copy of here resident status.

How do i show my proof of relationship with her, should i carry rationcard or something.


i have visited US in 2003(visitor visa) and as far as i remember i attached the photocopy of here status document.

But i do not remember how i showed the proof of relationship.

Proof of relationship: If you are sister, you would have common parents, at least one common parent. Show the birth certificates of both the sisters with common parents.
