My mother-in-law has been on visit visa since 5th Sep 2019. We had to extend her due to Covid19 pandemic, her first extension got approved until 9/4/2020 and awaiting for the 2nd extension approval which has expiry of stay on 4th March 2021. I want keep her for another 6 months if possible due to some health reasons. What is the best approach to proceed with while her extension is pending? Applying another extension or apply family based green card? We are ready to sponsor her green card if that is the only way of extending her stay in US. Is it possible to apply for green card while the extension of B2 visa in pending status? Appreciate your time and thanks in advance.
