Birth Certificate alternative

I do not have my original Birth Certificate but do have a certified/attested copy of it. Is that good enough?

If the Birth Certificate is mainly meant for showing my relationship with my parents then I have my original degree certificate which has my name and the name of my parents on it.

Please let me know if these documents should suffice.
