    Hi people,

Need some advise - i have a valid B-1/B-2 Visa. My husband is in US currently and was expected to be there for 3 months..he was granted a months entry at the port of entry but his company has filed for an extension for him of which the result takes about 4-8 weeks to be out.
I was planning a vacation to US, so I want to understand that will his case cause any problems for me? I will obviously be staying with him when i go. I wish to be there for around 6-7 weeks and return with him..

    Please suggest.

Also, what kind of documents should i carry with me?

    Thanks,
    C

    1. Your husband's presence in the U.S. will definitely taken into account while looking at your case. What effect it will have is unknown.

Ok, in this case what are the documents I should carry with me?

Also, because we got married according to the Hindu laws and customs, we did not till yet get a marriage certificate made.

Also, we have not changed our names on the passport. Does this matter? Is this a legal requirement?

What will your advise be on this entire case?
