Question about DD
Hi everyone -
I have a question about the Demand Draft. My parents took DDs today from SBI for an appointment next week at Chennai and apparently the "Payable To:" information on the DD says "American Consulate General", instead of "American Consulate General, Chennai". The DD is correct as far as the "Payable AT" information is concerned and it says: Chennai.
In your opinion, does the word "Chennai" have to be present in the "Payable TO"? If so, I will request them to get another one. Please advice.
