Extension of B2 Visa
Hi,
I am looking for suggestions on a couple of things related to my mother’s B2 visa extension.
1. What is the good time to apply for her B2 visa extension? I am planning to do it 6 weeks before her I94 expires. Is this good enough for the entire process to get completed or should I apply for the extension even before that? I heard that the downside of applying early is, the US authorities might think this extension was pre-planned and reject the extension.
2. Also, if my mother leaves the US before her I-94 expires and we get an ‘extension denied’ letter from USCIS after she left the country – will this have any impact the next time she enters US. Please note that she has a 10-year multiple entry visa.
