VO - We need to do some administrative processing for your application. I will keep your passport and here is your 21-G white form.
April 5 (around 4.30 pm) - I received an email asking to fill some basic questionnaire about my stay in USA (all addresses, emails and phone numbers I have used).
April 6 - I replied to that email will all the information filled in.
April 7 - Received email to collect my passport. Passport was returned without stamping.
Since then there has been no update on my status. Even the dates did not change.
July 1, 2018 - It still shows admin processing.
Someone please help me here? What should I do to get an update.

Went for my H1 interview on 26th June 2018. Usual question from the VO about where I work, salary details and my education etc. Then he said he can't issue visa now, gave me a 221g blue slip with “Your visa is refused for administrative processing" and said there is discrepancy in your profile and passport returned.
During interview with VO I have submitted all experience letter. But current company offer letter joining date mentioned as wrongly and I convey same thing to VO. Is this any problem to issue visa?
I have submitted following document: Client Letter, LCA, I-797B and other required document.
A bit of background:
• 8+ years of IT experience
• MBA - (Completed through distance in 2016 and unrecognized university)
• Bachelor of Commerce - 2005 (Regular recognized university)

2/14/2018 Interview at New Delhi consulate. VO handed white 221g with case number and asked to submit I129, LCA, and client letter. Basically top 2 rows from the 221g form.
It took month to collect vendor and client docs as I work in EVC model.
3/16/2018: Emailed the docs to email provided on 221g form. Received acknowledgment soon after.
4/8/2018: Client verification complete by DoS.
4/12/2018: Received email from support to submit passport. Email did say, you case is currently on hold.
4/18/2018: CEAC status shows AP but last updated changed to 4/18
5/14/2018: CEAC status shows AP but last updated changed to 5/14. For spouse, CEAC status still shows AP with last updated date of 4/18.
6/26/2018: last update changed for me and my spouse. Status still AP.

Dear Forum Members,
I got my h1b through one of the company in US and my h1b petition was approved in the year 2008 through lottery.
The petition was valid from Oct 1st 2008 to Sep 30th 2011. The petition was expired and I never got the visa stamping in my passport. I never traveled to USA during this 6 years time.
Let me know whether I can get the new petition using this old receipt number under CAP-Exempt Visa. How do I find the genuine visa sponsor who can sponsor and transfer my h1b from India.
I am working in India as an Integration Architect in a reputed software company here. Please suggest and throw me your inputs.

Hi Everyone, I benefited from posts in this forum when getting my H-1B extension stamped and wanted to contribute back to the forum. Mine is H-1B extension with approved I-140 and working for reputed Indian IT company.
Day 1 - Submitted dropbox application in Chennai VFS
Day 5 - Status changed to admin processing
Day 6 - Case status: Admin processing. Passport status: Received from consular section and being processed for delivery
Day 8 - Passport returned with blue 221(g) asking to attend interview and bring client letter
Day 12 - Attended interview and provided client letter. VO asked questions on job location, client, highest education, salary and said visa was approved
Day 13 - Case status: Admin processing
Day 14 - Case status: Issued. Passport status: Received from consular section and being processed for delivery
Day 15 - Received passport with visa stamped

I and my family were interviewed on Apr-26-2018 in New Delhi consulate for H1B and H4 Stamping. Visa officer said, "Visa is Approved", and we’ll get the passports in two weeks. But, I did not receive my passports till now. CEAC.state.gov is showing “Admin Processing” and last updated status on the site is still Apr-26-2018. I am really confused and do not understand the reason for “admin processing”.
Vo asked few questions,
1. He asked for I797
2. Is your company big?
3. What you do for your company?
4. When did you land in India?
5. When is your return flight?
After that he was typing on his computer for 2-3 mins and said your visa is approved and you'll get your passports in 2 weeks time frame. He put a post it on my passports and wrote "Visa Approved", I've no idea whats going on.
