Interviewee said visa was approved but once I came back after paying the reciprocity fee she said they were having technical difficulties so my visa would get ready in two more business days. She asked when I am traveling back to US, and when I answered she said the passport will probably arrive back by then, I am suppose to travel back next week...
I have not received any 221(G) but my status says "Administration Processing" first updated on December/20 and now on December/28.

Hi People,
My status changed to H1B 2 weeks back from F1.. I am planning to get stamping on January 12th 2018 at Hyderabad.
After going through this blog, I understood that whoever went to stamping from Nov 2017, most of them recieved 221g's and Rejections.
Can someone tell me if going to stamping in these situations is safe or not?
I work for a client (EVVC model). H1B picked in April got RFE to prove the job is a specialty occupation and got approved on Dec 13th.

At the visa interview, officer said visa is approved and passport should be ready in 5 to 7 business days. Checked my application status online and it says case has been moved to Administrative Processing. My passport was taken by visa officer and I was not given any slip. On 15th Dec, it says visa approved. Passport is sent to courier for delivery and tracking number is given.
