I am writing this message regarding our Passports update, since yesterday if I am checking my passports status on website : http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-passporttrack.asp and it is showing There is no status update available for the passport number submitted.
I appeared for H1B visa on 1st Feb 2016, at New Delhi consulate along with my Husband and 2 kids (H4 dependent), After the Interview with the consular officer, I was told my Visa s approved, you will receive your passports in few days and if we need any further information will contact you.
The visa consular officer collected our passports and said we would be getting them back in few days. However, when i checked the visa status @CEAC site, it shows the status as "Administrative Processing" I am really worried on what the actual status is.
Please Note, I wasn't given any 221-g form or any other slip/form of any kind and the visa consular officer collected only our passports / I797 Approval notice and my H1B document

Hello Friends,
On 7th Oct i was issues white slip and my case was sent to AP aka 221g. Submitted documents asked on 20th oct and since then there has been no updates. I keep on checking with NVC and Consulate but same standard reply.
Meanwhile my current organisation offered to file a cap exempt visa for me as i already have approved petition from external firm which went to 221g.
are there any such cases who have successfully got visa stamped after changing sponsor post 221g from the previous employer. Please help/suggest if that is the right way to proceed.

Hi,
I am currently in US with L2 VISA working on w2 with x company.
My stay depends on L1 (my spouse)
L1 need to leave US on Dec 30th, So I also need to leave US on the same day as I am on L2.
I(L2) also have My old H1B VISA which was expired in sep, 2010, I did not travel to US During my H1B visa tenure to US.
Since my stay is dependent on my spouse stay(L1), I want to re-instate my old H1B.
could you let me know possible ways to do that.
