I had submitted the passport for matchup on 10 th march at atlanta. Waiting since then, have my tickets next week, anybody with recent atlanta experience for matchup,

I have sent the original US Passport for Match up via Mail and it was delivered to CKGS on 03/16/2015 at 10AM; but till now CKGS have not updated there system. Does CKGS send an Update stating that they have received original US Passport OR do they send an update after 2 weeks (processing time for Matchup as per CKGS)

Here is our timeline which is not bad at all but needed a lot of back of forth. While the application was mailed out Jan 27th, we had to send money orders next because personal checks were not accepted. We then had to send pictures with a white background as the light background we had was not accepted. All this took us to Feb 9th when the app was forwarded to the NY Consulate.

We then had to send Part B for all kids again on Feb 11 because they claimed the mother did not sign. Then I had to send a notarized letter stating that my wife's OCI card was contingent on a valid marriage. Later on March 2nd, we had to send Part B again when they said mother had still not signed. Apparently, they needed it notarized--but that was accomplished via e-mail as we scanned Part B for the three kids and sent it same day.

Here is how the CKGS site showed status. Note that between Feb 9 and March12th, CKGS stopped showing updates and the OCI India site had to be tracked for updates. We sent in the passports as soon as the India site showed the cards had been received in NY. CKGS asked for them a day after they had already received them :-)

Does OCI applicant have to self-sign or self-attest every single copy of documentation?
Is ONLY signature required or signature with sentence mentioning that the presented document is NOT false?
Even if it is parents' passport copy, does it still have to be self-signed by applicant?

Can someone please share his/her experience while applying for OCI based on Parents that were Indian Citizen BUT became US Citizen before 1990 and their Indian Passport does NOT say "Cancelled...Acquired US Citizenship Dated..."?

I think in those early days may be OCI rules were not clear so now parents PP does NOT have the required stamp.

Has someone gone through such kind of experience?
Was OCI application rejected? If yes, was there a solution?

I'm not sure that the application is still with Atlanta or sent to Delhi.

the indian passport status website shows that the application is still under process since feb 10th.

Is anybody have an idea on when we can expect OCI card ?.

How long is the wait for oci matchup at Atlanta...any recent experiences??
