Administrative processing
So at Islamabad my interview happened for F1 on 26 June 2018 and I was informed that visa is approved and was given a letter that says “Your visa is Approved”. The VO told me that everything looks good and said you will have your visa in next week but now it’s 10 July and I have received no update. My CEAC says administrative processing with last update on the day of interview that is 26 June. My CGI dashboard was showing your passport is with consulate but now it has changed to document delivery information which is blank. When I email the passport tracking email it says no update. I don’t know what’s going on with all this. I wasn’t given any 221g so why is it hapenning. Anyone with similar experience.

F1 Visa Decline at USA Consulate in Dubai, UAE
hello,
I'd like to share my F1 Visa Interview and rejection I received on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at US Consulate in Dubai.
After reviewing my i20 and passport, just 3 questions were asked and then rejected.
Q1: Why Associate degree?
AN1: I've been away from learning for a while since I got my Science degree in 2001, and I was devoted my time to work in UAE, GCC . So, I believe it is better to start with Flexible curriculum at Community college with associate degree, then I will transfer the credit to a 4 year bachelor degree and then Master.
Q2:Married? Yes
Q3:Why your wife and kids will not accompany you? Due to spouse work's commitment and all my spouse, kids have got B1/B2 visa valid till 2020 and they can visit me any time since they will not stay longer than a month.

END of the interview with rejection.

Can you please assist and advise the mistakes I have undergone ? Do you advise to resubmit.

Appreciate your kind assistance.

Income Tax
Dear Sirs,
Your site appears to be very informative however there appears to be an anomaly in stating who is liable for tax on worldwide income.
The two paragraphs headed NON-RESIDENT and TAX TREATY imply that tax on worldwide income is only payable by permanent residents of USA (US citizens and green card holders) whereas the
IRS site says that anyone meeting the substantial presence (eg.183
day test) is liable for tax on world wide income. I would welcome your comments.
Sincerely,
Terry Bannigan
