N 400 Applied - Sep 2019
Interview - December 19, 2019
Under Quality Review all thru Jan 2020 till May 2020
Got an update on USCIS site that Oath ceremony cancelled followed by another update interview scheduled.
Oath Ceremony scheduled June 18, 2020
Oath completed and certificate received.

N 400 interview was in Atlanta GA (October 2019)
Oath was conducted in Nashville TN (I am a TN resident)

It is moving slow but it is moving. Oath ceremony was conducted only for 9 people in the room. That says a lot. Usually at that field office they have a batch of 50 taking oath in the past. Good luck everyone !

Honolulu, Hawaii
Please anybody who filed N400 from state of Hawaii, kindly share your experience and timeline for N400 and if possible i751.
I thought Hawaii would be faster because it’s not as populated as lot of states in mainland US but apparently it’s worse.
My timeline is
8/17/2018 - USCIS received i751 which I sent like a couple weeks before.
10/20/2018- i797 notice of action in mail good for 18 months.
8/27/2019 - filed N400 application online.
8/31/2019 - Biometrics notice
9/20/2019 - went for biometrics for N400
**** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** *
11/25/2019 - Recieved notice of to appear for interview for i751
12/16/2019 - Attended i751 interview with my wife.

It’s going to 7 months and I have not heard anything from USCIS regarding my i751 or N400.

Please anybody who has ever filed in Hawaii be kind to share your story and timeline. It may encourage some of us. Thank you

Still waiting for oath ceremony
Congratulations to those who got done with their process.I had my N400 interview and approval at the end of February 2020. I recieved a letter for my actual oath ceremony in first week of March. In mid March they canceled my oath ceremony due to covid 19 just two days before my actual ceremony. Now it's been over three months and am still waiting for oath to be reschedule here in Detroit Michigan field office. A lot of people in Michigan have already taken oath since the office is opened on june 4th. Sometimes I feel like that my case is forgotten. I have called uscis a couple of times but no luck. Any one in the same situation? Or from Michigan who has not take then oath yet and what is your time line ? Please share your experience and good luck to everyone. This Covid-19 really screwed us up and life is on hold. Has anyone sent a letter to local office to inquire about your case?

US Passport ?
Folks,
Anyone recently naturalized applied for US passport? There are significant delays and no expedited option. Trying to see if i need to wait out till things settle or just go ahead and apply in regular processing. Only reason is we have to send original naturalization certificate for applying new passport...

Oath Ceremony Cincinnati Ohio
Dear All, thanks for all the support so far. This is my last post in the naturalization forum. My immigration journey comes to an end today. Ceremony happened in a drive-in theatre and all of us tuned into an FM channel. In Ohio all oath ceremonies are conducted by the Judicial system in front of a magistrate. Whole event took 2 hours.. mostly waiting time. Processing time was 15 mins and the ceremony itself was another 15 mins. Certificates were issued on the way back along with a letter from White House signed by the president.

I can now proudly call myself an American Citizen. I can’t wait to register to vote and perform my Civic duty come November. All the best to every one waiting to get to the finish line. God Bless America!!!

PS: timeline - Applied Dec-2019 Biometrics Jan 2020 Interview March 2020 Oath June 2020
