N400 Interview experience in Lawrence, MA
Reading this forum helped me a lot. So, it is time to return the favor by sharing my experience:

I got GC in EB2 in October 2018.
N400 Application Submitted: Sept 29 2023.
Got acknowledgement and biometrics waiver notice in a few weeks.
Interview Notice: Issued in Jan and was scheduled on Feb 16th at Lawrence office.
Approved and had oath on the same day.

I had to wait about an hour. My interview was scheduled at 12 30 Pm. I reached 30 mins prior. I was called around 1 30 PM.
Immigration officer was nice. The actual interview was done in 10 mins.

I answered correct for 6 consecutive questions. So, it was quick. I was asked: What is an amendment ? Who was the President during WW I ? Which state borders Canada ? I forgot the rest 3 but straight forward from the question bank.

Then Immigration officer asked some questions from my N400 form: What is your wife's name ? Her date of birth ? Have you ever registered for vote ?

I passed and oath took place on the same day.

Applying for N-400
I applied for “conditions to be removed” on my green card November 2022, Potomac office. Since then no update besides a paper of 48month extension until I get a physical card. Now it’s been more than 3 years of me having the green card and I am eligible to apply for N-400. However, I am about to go into labor any time in next few weeks. Should I wait to apply for N-400 or just go ahead and do it? Thank you!

N-400 Interview at USCIS Field Office San Jose.
Hello All,

Approved for Naturalization and received my Oath Ceremony letter the same day. My timeline (at the USCIS FO San Jose):
Applied - September 6, 2023 (3 year rule)
Biometrics - Reused
Interview Scheduled - Jan 25, 2024
Naturalization Interview - February 29, 2024
Oath Scheduled - March 15, 2024

Civic questions:
1. What are the two rights only available to Citizens?
2. What is the Supreme Law of the Land?
3. How many Amendments are there in the Constitution?
4. Who is the next in line for the President in case the current President and the Vice-President are incapacitated?
5. Who is the current Vice President?
6. Who is the Governor of California?
7. Who is the father of the United States?

Reading: Who lives in the White House?
Writing: The President lives in the White House.

After the usual questions, I was asked If had any questions and any changes to be made to the N-400 application. Once I answered in the negative, I was asked if I would take the Oath of Allegiance and I answered yes. I was given a letter stating "Your application was recommended for approval." In about 30 minutes when I got into work, I got an online notification stating my Oath Ceremony has been scheduled at the San Jose FO. Overall a very smooth, straightforward process and no extra documents or proofs asked during the interview. Good luck to everyone for their speedy Naturalization !!!
