I moved into my new house about 2 years back and when I moved in, I was given a phone number by Verizon that belonged previously to Mr. K. McDonald.

After moving in, I kept on receiving huge number of calls asking for Mr. McDonald, Mrs. McDonald, Ms. McDonald and so on.

One day, it just occured to me and now whenever anyone calls and says 'Can I talk to Mr. McDonald'? I just say 'No McDonald here. Only Burger King'. And the expression that the calling person has just too much.

It may not be a good idea to answer phone calls like that, but that certainly helped me reduce no. of calls.

J1- Inter company transfer of employees, has become a threat for Citizens, Greencard holders, and H1 holders, as they are swamped the market with low rates. They are not paying any more taxes here, and enjoying the full amount earned and citizens, Permanant residents are loosing jobs. Government should curb J1 visas and the companies activities, if they are doing overseas/offshore development, let them do it there and transefer the technology. This is hitting the IT sector a lot, while others are suffering without jobs. Government should look into this and take serious action.
