Hello everyone, so I finally have my interview on the 16th. Does anyone know if I take my Mexican passport to the interview and get approved on the spot do they stamp it so I can travel right away?? When my mom got her green card they did stamp her passport so she could come and go while waiting for her card. But it was years ago so I don't know if they still do it. I live in San Diego CA by the way, so that's why I'm asking my husband has family over in Tijuana and he wants me to go to his grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Good luck everyone

Hello everyone,
My EAD expires in January 2019, is it ok if I apply now for a renewal?
Since the waiting period is now 6 months. I don’t want to be out of job.

Biometric fingerprints
Hi guys, I have questions regarding my AOS.
I’ve been waiting for my work permit and travel document, I took my biometric fingerprints since April 20th.
However it’s been almost 4 months and still didn’t get any update,
I checked the processing time to USCIS website it shows that the range time is 4.5-6.5 months in National Benefits center. I have a lawyer for my case and he told me it should take about 2 months after the biometric fingerprints are done.
I’m wondering if any of you have the same experience as me,
So my questions are:
1. How long it is actually to receive the work permit and travel document in hand after biometric fingerprints are done ?
2. Is it necessary for USCIS to not updating their system ?
It’s been showing “Case was received” since March 26th.
3. Is it true that the processing time is getting slower since Trump elected ?
4. How do I know when I received my work permit/travel document ?
5. How do I know whether it’s rejected or accepted ?

I just checked my status and it says case was approved on july 5th we will mail you an approval letter

I’m loosing my mind

All case were visible online
Then after bio 4/18 485 error
6/10 my 485 not showing at all
Today I checked dhs account which wasn’t updating but at least showing all my cases , today is showing 500 error...
I can’t see any of my cases
Still no EAD
Anyone has same problem today???
