EAD question
Hello everyone,

I'm LPR (greencard holder) and I've filled for i-485, i-130, and i-765 for my spouse under the F2A category. On Oct 4th, 2017 all documents reached USCIS- National Benefits Center (NBC).

On November 8th- my spouse had the fingerprint done.
We are now waiting for the EAD. Looking at some comments from this forum, I believe the wait time is around 50 days on average after the fingerprint is done.

My question is...on the NBC website it says processing timings for i-765 -- (Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] July 1, 2017). So until this date does not say October 2017...we wont be getting the EAD?
What are these processing timings implying? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Green Card received!
Hello everyone,

I am a U.S. citizen and below is our experience from Dallas TX:

PD: 12-21-2016
Background/Fingerprints: early February 2017
Work Permit: April 1, 2017
Interview scheduled: November 21, 2017 (Approved on the spot! Praise the Lord!!!)
Also received hard copy via mail 12-07-2017 confirming GC approved.
Received Green Card in the mail 12-11-2017.

We are so thankful and give all the glory to God who provided every step of the way!

For our interview, we came very prepared (dressed in suit and nice slacks too) with all the necessary documents as well as picture albums and wedding guest lists of our huge wedding. Our officer who interviewed us was more relaxed than I anticipated (as we were expecting a very intense officer). He asked some serious questions and ones to verify info on the application/paperwork, etc... but he added jokes here and there and it felt a little more like a nice business meeting vs intense interview. It lasted about 30-40 minutes at max??
If any of you Dallas fillers have any more questions regarding our interveiw here, let me know.

And best wishes to the rest of you!

NYC Filer. Had Interview Yesterday
Hi everyone,
I have been a silent reader as well all this year. i would like to share my experience, especially for the NYC filers. I am married to a Citizen. I am the beneficiary. We had our interview yesterday. I think it went well. The questions made by the Officer were mostly about how, when, where we met, our life together, hw much is rent. When we got married. Why we married, questions mostly about our personal information submitted in the application, and the yes and no questions to me. She kept some photos and also made a copy of our debit cards for our joint bank account. At the end she said she will make a decision in 120 days. However, our attorney said everything went well and that the approval decision would be made in 1 or 2 days. My husband decided to hire an attorney because I have a special situation with my 245-I. Overall, we are confident all will be alright.

Our Timeline:
- USCIS received package December 22nd, 2016
- They mailed a Notice that they received the package soon after.
-April 19th, they mailed my EAD
-November 8th, they mailed(and updated online status) the notice of interview Scheduled for December 11th, 2017
-December 11th, ur interview was a Federal Plaza. We waited about 30 minutes. Then we were called by speaker to a door #. Interview overall was about 10 or 15 minutes.

I would say that although it can be hard to be patience, there is not other choice. Your time will come. Unless, you have been waiting for than their specified time-frame.

All the best,

Complication
My friend have a situation and I need your help. here is it.

He came into the U.S. in 2000 under a different passport, name and date of birth. He got married under his passport name (fake name), now his wife needs to petition for him but it cannot be done due to his past. He got a legitimate visa, social security # and drivers license all under his fake name. Has anyone been through this and how it was treated/fixed?

I-485 unusual timing
Good night,

I am writing about my experience on my case. I sent the I-130 and I-485 package together last August. My priority date is August 29, 2017. After two weeks that I submitted the package, I got the confirmation receipt letter thing and biometrics appointment, and after that a month went by by the time I did my Biometrics. Then at the beginning of October I gota RFE, but I gather what they were asking me for and sent it off to the Missouri Center where my process was still being processed at mid November. Here is when the weird thing is happening. I have only gotten the first NOA; I am still waiting for the work permit and the second NOA confirming my case was approved. Now the weird thing is that on December 5th, I got my interview notice and the instructions for the Initial Interview for next month. I thought this case was gonna take 6+ months, not roughly 5 months so I am a little skeptical about it. Also, I do not know where my case is being processed because my case was never sent to any big service center like Nebraska or Texas. Also, I have my interview at my local USCIS office. Is it normal to not get NOA2 and work permit before the interview? and is it normal that I got through the process in 4 months?
Thank you for your opinions.

no response
Anybody here who submitted a Service Request and got no response? My account says it was assigned to the officer, so I've waited for over three weeks and there is nothing from them... Still waiting for the card after the interview, which was supposedly approved.....No idea what's going on.
