Jan. 18, 2017 - Biometrics done
March 11, 2017 - AED card approved
March 17, 2017 - AED received
April 19, 2017 - Scheduled for interview on May 23rd
May 23rd, 2017 - got there an hour before the interview the IO so serious and straight forward, he asked me simple question, what's my first and last name and middle name and my parents name, and my wife full legal name. he asked me who fill out the application and I said I did, he looked at the photo albums and all the other joint accounts etc. and she escort my wife outside and me and the IO in the office just asked me yes and no answer. and thats it an hour later I485 approved and new card in production 3 days later I received my Green Card..

Chicago Interview experience
I had my interview yesterday at chicago field office at 10:45 am. The interview was pretty straight forward.The officer asked for our passports, birth certificates and marriage certificate. Then he asked me when did i last enter US and if i am working anywhere. he asked me to show my employment letter.
then he went through our 2 large wedding albums, he was pretty impressed with the albums and said that he hadnt seen such a large album ever. After then he asked me yes/no questions and thats it. He approved us on the spot. No more question like where did yoy guys meet, who proposed whom etc.
He said that i would get my card within 4 weeks. Once i got down, i got a call from officer that he forgot to take my photo and finger print and asked me to come back up. I went up and give my photo and finger prints. I am not sure if they take picture and finger print at interview

SR for EAD
Daer All, pls can someone advice me on this, i made SR yesterday about my EAD on day 80, the level 2 officer was very nice over the phone, he then concluded that he has put a request to expidit my EAD that i will hear from them in 7 days, he then said it show on their system approved that i should have received it before now alonside with my form i-131 received since early May. Pls do any person has similar experience and get response accordingly? Pls help. Thanks and remain bless. My pd is 17th march 2017.

Same sex couple.
We got there 20 minutes before our interview .
the immigration officer was friendly and he asks straight forward questions
he asked us questions from the form we first submitted.
Where did we meet ? When did we get married ? Asked about family names . Then he asked us if we have something else we want to submit. We have him bank accounts , joint taxes . And some others letter saying how much my husband makes a year.
And that was it .
He approved us on the Spot.
And now it says New card is being produced.
I might get it within 3 weeks .
I'm beyond happy

judge ordered deportation but i stayed and im married now
A friend of mine is based in Dallas
shes married to USC
she filed i-130 received by USCIS 12/23/16
shes over stayed over 10 years, judge once ordered deportation
Is she still prone to deportation even after being married to USC?
She has surgery coming up and her husband is having back surgery too.
Can she expedite the i-130 based on medical condition?
Please share your knowledge
