Interview
Today I had my interview in Los Angeles

My appointment was at 8:15 got there early and checked in. Got called in after about 5 minutes, all they asked us was was to verify our information on the 485. The routine questions that are asked about terrorist and crimes, he asked for the originals of birth certificate marriage certificate. That was it and I was out in about 20 or 30 minutes. The interviewer just handed us a paper and said we would hear back in 120 days.

Not Good News for I-485 AOS Applications Assigned to St. Louis Office
Here is a really depressing news for I-485 AOS applications
assigned to St. Louis Field Office.

During the 90-day period (July 1-Sept. 30, 2016),
the field office received 275 new applications and approved
only 49 cases, according to the latest (released today, Dec. 22, 2016)
USCIS official data.

Curiously, the number of denials is marked "D".
According to USCIS, "D" denotes (means) that
"Data withheld to protect applicants' privacy".
You can easily imagine why.

Most importantly, the number of pending applications
stood at 1,283 as of Sept. 30, 2016.

At this trend (rate), someone who filed I-485 applications
in 2016 (even in January) is likely to have to wait for a number of years
(at least 2-3 years).

Sadly, the only thing that you may do about it is to wait and pray.

The entire data is available at the following link:

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports%20and%20Studies/Immigration%20Forms%20Data/Adjustment%20of%20Status/I485_performancedata_fy2016_qtr4.pdf

Cheers!!!!!
