Hello friends.
Anyone with some information on how their experience was with i485 ill really appreciate. Filled mine in May 18th, everything been going on ok. my biometrics, submitted all te documents and approved, then i received a mail on my case account, reads we are ready to schedule for your interview, we will send you a notice.
My question is..... why didnt i receive a work permit? EAD or did they stop giving out EAD as you wait for your interview....?
Will my interview be tis year 2016?

Interview date 11/7/2016
Today I had my I485 interview at 1 pm. We reached there 12:30 and sitting in the waiting room. At 1:40 pm one lady came out and called my name that's the lady who was IO. interview was easy with basic questions. We had photos, bank statements, and many other proofs etc.
The IO was really attentive. She treated us so nicely she just asked for joint proofs we gave her all joint bank account statements, joint insurance, joint auto insurance, joint credit cards statements. ( she kept all papers. Didn't return us anything).
She also looked at our wedding photo Albums. After sometimes she said she will review my case and lat us know the final decision within a month.
Now at 5 pm my online status updated. It's changed " My Card is being produced and we will mail it to your address soon"
Very happy that this long process is finally done.

Online status shows "Continuous Notice was mailed"
Greetings to all viewer, readers and advisors!
I really really need your input, having lots of stress and sleepless night..
We had interview on 31st, and it was good as we assumed, end of the interview at Oakland Park, FL, officer given us two paper sheet 1) showing : review the case and let us know if further any docs require... and 2) showing: to remove the condition before 90 days of GC..,,
Currently my online status shows that "Continution Notice was maild" but till today we havent received the notice!!
Pls pls share if anyone have such sitution and experience..

We were approved on the spot - interview was easy with basic questions. We had photos, bank statements, etc.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CURRENT MEDICAL EXAM BEFORE YOU GO TO THE INTERVIEW
We had asked our lawyer and they said we did not need it. Someone here in the forum mentioned it. My husband did not do it.
We went back to see IO office on 11/04/2016 and turned in the new Medical Exam.
A one-year stamp and seal was given on my husband's Mexican Passport. He can travel with this while he gets his card on the mail. The card will be good for 2 years. He can apply for Citizenship in 3 years.
Very happy that this long process is finally done.
