Do you guys think who already have the social security and paid the tax on 2018 and 2019 will get the check? No green card yet, just EAD and social.

SSN received
Finally I received my SSN today. I have been seeing a lot of post saying they have not received SSN after EAD. I was worried a lot since I was in need of SSN soon. What I have understood is that those who have authorized to disclose their information to SSA to issue SSN and SS card, they will get their SSN within seven days of getting EAD. For those who have applied for SSN after getting EAD will be getting theirs quite lately due to current situation. Don't lose hope and be patient.

EAD card received: April 2, 2020
SSN received: April 6, 2020

Philadelphia office, finally approved!!!
Hello everyone !!
PD June 19, 2018
Interview May 15, 2019
Approved April 6, 2020
This forum helped me not to go crazy during 2 year wait for my permanent resident green card . I almost lost my hope, we waited 11 months to get the interview date , and 10,5 month waiting after the interview, finally, today I got an update, that my case was approved! We were thinking to file a lawsuit against USCIS...but this day has come !!! When I was waiting for the news, I read all the comments , and usually people who got an approval would say “ guys be patient, and this day will come”. I would always think that this was unreal and the wait wasendless... but today I feel so happy , and I’m glad that we patiently waited for our approval. I haven’t been able to go see my family since 10 years , and now I won’t be able to go until all the craziness due to Covid19 is over , but I feel motivated now , to keep walking toward my goals. Good luck everyone ! I wish all good news for you !!! Stay safe and healthy!
