After Greencard

Hello everyone,

I have applied for removal of conditions on November 2019. No news until today July 12 2020 when my status changed to "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken" and applied to my case.

I never got a fingerprints appointment nor completed fingerprints for conditions removal. I assume they used old fingerprints.

Anyone knows why is that? What shoudl I expect next is that a good/ bad sign? Anyone had a similar experience? My center is in California.

What should I look for while I am in a consultation with an immigration lawyer. How do I negotiate the fees? How much do lawyers charge for N400 case?
If any of you lives in the Midwest or south and had a lawyer who was great. Please share the lawyer's info.

Can anyone help me how much time I need to wait to hear from Potomac? My case was transferred from Vermont to Potomac on February 5th 2020 it has been 14 months and one week and nothing has change yet. I am just curious If I am going to be able to hear any good news anytime soon. Can anyone share any recommendations?

We filed our application on May 11, 2020. Our checks were cashed on May 20, 2020. It is the second week of July now but we still don't have any acknowledgement of our application. I called USCIS on July 1, 2020. The operator was helpful in identifying the receipt number for our application. The operator also filed a missing acknowledgement request on our behalf saying it will take 15 to 30 days to get a response. We are still waiting for a paper acknowledgement of our I-751 application. Is anybody else experiencing similar delays? Thanks.

Hi all, currently I am residing in USA and my 18 months extension will be expiring in August2020. I read online and they say I need to get i551 stamp in my passport to continue my stay in US as proof of legal permanent residence . I contacted USCIS to schedule an appointment but the officer said if you are residing in US no need of i551 stamp and if you want to get the i551 stamp in the passport there should be some emergency reasons. Can anyone suggest me regarding this issue.

First of all thank you for answering all my questions since I started posting here.
My question is: My I751 is still pending, I have a good lawyer, but. Knowledge is not everything... His office staff never updates me with anything and they charge for every signle move they take. I find that disrespectful!
That is why, I decided to move forward with a new lawyer who I have an appointment with on Monday. What should I expect. If I get a combo interview. which lawyer accompany me to the interview? I appreciate your help and support.

Can some one suggest what to do if you dont receive any update after submitting RFE responce ?

I filed for conditions removal in June of 2019 (Texas office)
Completed fingerprints in November 2019
Applied for citizenship May 30th 2020
Card is being produced June 23 2020
Card is mailed on July 9th 2020
