I need help for expedite my case for i-751
Hello guys, I file in June 2020 at Vermont EAC. It’s already been almost 28 months. I put 2 online info-pass and email from uscis that we will send something in 60 days but both time 60days + 60days but nothing received. Now few days before I put 3rd info-pass they send me email that “we regret we are unable to provide completion date”. This is so torture. And Vermont processing time is 15 to 16.5 months and mine one is almost 28 months, almost double.

So my question is that is there any way to expedite my case to pay expedite fees? Because once I heard about expedition somewhere, I don’t remember where I heard. Anyways can anyone help me if anyone have a knowledge about expedition? I’ll be appreciate. Thanks

Can I travel to my country of origin after withdrawing my asylum
Hello friends, please I just want to ask, I had applied for asylum in 2016 and it took forever so I got married to my wife who's a citizen in 2018 and she applied to change my status in 2020, we had an appointment and everything was good and I had my green card last year 2021, immediately after that my lawyer files to withdraw my asylum which it took USCIS a year and it was successfully withdrawed. Now my father back home is sick and I was thinking of going to my country of origin, is it risky for me to go back home since I had previously applied for asylum? I am afraid since i have to apply for my citizenship in 2023.

Any update for Jan 2021 WAC (california) filer. I have a waiver case and last update I got was in July, 2022 that fingerprints were being reused. Nothing after that. Anyone else from WAC (California) center in similar situation or got any update.

Thanks in advance,

N400 Approved with Pending I-751- Nebraska Service Center/Philadelphia Field Office
I'm not an immigration expert, but based on my experience and so many others before me, I see no reason to wait on I-751 to be approved before filing N400. Here's my timeline:

April 10th 2021 - Submitted I-751 for my self and minor child
April 24th 2021 - I-751 Case Received and 18 month extension mailed
May 25th 2021 - Biometrics reused (no update for my child)
December 12th 2021 - 24 month extension received
*******SILENCE*******
April 10th 2022 - N400 submitted online for myself (I used updated evidence I had submitted a year earlier)
April 10th 2022 - N400 received and is being actively reviewed. Notice sent in the mail.
April 10th 2022 - Biometrics reused. Notice sent in the mail.
July 26th 2022 - N400 Interview Scheduled for September 8th

September 8th 2022 - N400 Interview (Took my husband with me because of pending I-751. I told security that he needed to be with me even though the interview notice did not say to take him along. I knew from reading other cases that it would be a combo interview.

September 8th - Combo Interview Passed (Basic questions asked on the 1-751 part and civics questions, reading and writing on the N400 part). USCIS officer said he could not approve my N400 because he did not have access to my I-751. He would request access and approve me within 2 weeks.

September 9th 2022 - I-751 transferred to new office (updates for me and my child)
September 10th - I-751 transferred and new office has jurisdiction (my case only)
September 24th - N400 was approved and submitted for quality review
September 25th - Placed in line for Oath Ceremony
September 26th - Oath Ceremony scheduled for October 19th 2022
September 26th - I-751 case approved (my case was the only one updated. My child's case is still stuck at transferred to new office). I'm not concerned though. I will apply for his passport when I get my certificate of citizenship and N600 before he turns 16 because he wants to join the military.

I hope this post was helpful to someone as the many posts here was for me. Feel free to ask your questions. By the way, from start till end, I did this without any help from a lawyer. If your marriage is real and your case is straightforward, I see no reason to spend money on a lawyer.
