Vermont I-751 Sep 2019 with RFE Approved
Hey everyone, my I-751 was just approved! I've been stalking this forum for years and I want to contribute back. I have a bone fide marriage and submitted the I-751 with full documentation, and the USCIS sent me an RFE anyway, and it felt like I was going crazy. They informed me that an interview was to be scheduled 9 months ago, and all of a sudden I received notification that my application was approved. Thank you all for keeping me sane with all this time waiting.

Late entry caused by COVID-19 pandemic
I would like to share my experience that might answer the question of “ do CBP consider that late entry by LPR exceeding 1 year because of the COVID 19 consequences ? “
They didn’t , as well nowadays all of the traveler to US is subjected to the second security check “ Koisk officer “ that is checking all of your previous travels “ and if you exceeded 12 months he will direct you to the 3rd security check “ CBP office “ .
They will ask you to abandon your residency voluntary as a first choice , then they might threaten you to be transferred to the immigration court . And if you provided them with some evidences on your ties with USA they will accept to get be you a waiver and to pay 585 USD as waiver fees .

Ps . If you discuss with them that the flights had been stopped during the pandemic the officer will declare that US didn’t stop receiving the citizens and the Lprs .

So make sure to get ready for such mission and to have the amount with you ,

This is my experience during my retuning back to US through Ohare airport , chicago .

That koisk officer was very tough and tried to threaten me that I will not enter and he tried to say that I lied to him out of no reason that stress the situation out .

Now I'm just waiting for my ceremony date

Interview was horrible, the officer was really rude and disrespectful, at that moment I thought she was going to deny my application. But I had faith in God and I always looked at her in her Eyes

She requested a receipt of Tax payment which I didn't have at the moment, I asked her If I could show her on my Phone and she said no. I Sent my bank statement showing that I had paid my taxes and also a transcript.....
Even though she asked 7 questions I had all of them correct
She also made me do 2 writing test
She went over to the Yes/No question

Thanks to God my journey is almost over, it's been a long wait 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
GOD is Good all the time
