My current role involves leading and developing a software infra and software apps which is used throughout my company for sanity check its products
company is HQ there, thus the higher mgmt and the stakeholders involved in these meeting are present in US.

I have marriage planned this June, so I am kind of busy making arrangements for it. So, could not get much time to check out places.
Unlike others, I have been present from the very start of project and with my experience I'll be able to provide valuable inputs for project betterment
according to the agenda planned we will be discussing wide variety of things. It would take us 2 weeks to discuss all of these topics
Once we have fixated on our future roadmap, I along with my team can make our project better for our users
works towards achieving the future roadmap that was decided in the meeting
recently, the number of user using our proj have increased due to which our projects has not been functioning up to the mark, so scale the projcet
I am about to get married have a permanent job and I simply cannot live without my family

Information needed for B2 Tourist visa Please

1. Can we advance our date for Visa appointment after completing the finger printing appointment?
2. Should the kids under 14 accompany the parent going for the B2 visa interview? What is the documentation required to support kids?

B1 Visa : Clarifications needed Please
Dear all,
I have B1 Visa Next week. I have a couple of questions
1) When the VO asked for a passport, do we need to give him or her both New and OLD passport?
2) They took the photo in the Biometric interview. Do we need to carry the Photo with us to the consulate? I had anyway taken the Visa Photo as per the specifications.
3) Would the VO ask for our Photograph as well
4) My interview is about 10 AM, what would be the Ideal time to reach the consulate.

Renewal of B1/B2 visa- Mumbai consulate- Admin processing
On 26th April Mumbai consulate i submitted my application for my B1/B2 visa renewal, as i was applicable for interview waiver so for my case its just finger print scan. Yesterday they changed the visa application status to "Administrative processing". Any experience on the same please fill me in, how many days it will took or what they will ask, so far no response from US consulate.

As posted on 4th april my b1/b2 visa was approved as there was an exibition on 9th may but now due to sudden death of my father i am not able to go there now. Is it possible to go after 3-4 months there or not? Please let me know this.

My B1 visa got approved in 1st attempt at Mumbai Embassy
First of all thank you all to share your experience with us. it helps a lot to get idea about the visa interview process.
My interview was on 19th April 2018 at Mumbai visa embassy. Below is my experience.
Me: Hello sir, good morning.
VO: Good morning, passport please.
VO: What is the purpose of visit?
Me: As i am leading the QA team in India, my Vice precedent of QA department has invited me to participate in the discussion of product deployment process and automation strategy for our *** Project. Also, i will attend the business meeting with our onshore business partners.
VO: How many years of experience you have in this company?
Me: Since Aug. 2014, it's been 3 years 8 months with the current company.
VO: What is the duration of your trip?
Me: It's 4 weeks
VO: Why this meeting in USA instead of India?
Me: **** is headquartered in San Jose California and many higher management associate will also attend these meetings hence they have scheduled this meeting in San Jose, USA.
VO: How many people are there in your team?
Me: I handle a team of 5.
VO: He again asked me, did you said 4 years with the current company?
Me: Yes, it will be 4 years completed in next Aug.
VO: Smiled at me and said i will keep your passport, collect it after 2 3 days.

I went to US Visa interview on 26th May At Chennai Consulate. It was my first experience and I've been reading different experiences on this forum from last few months. I was nervous and tensed after reading those experiences.
My Short Bio - I'm a startup entrepreneur and I was selected for a delegation to US. I have previously travelled to 4 other countries including Europe.
The guy in front of me was rejected. (He was planning to go for a vacation.) Then the VO asked me to come forward.
Me : (Smiled)
VO : Passport Please.
(I gave the passport)
VO : Why are you going to the US?
Me : Travelling as part of a delegation program organized by YYYY .
VO : What is YYYY ?
Me : It's a (explained what it is)
VO : How did they select you?
Me : (I explained)
VO : Do you have an invitation letter or something?
Me : (I gave the letter.)
VO : So, what are you going to do in the US?
Me : I explained the agenda. And said that I've the detailed agenda. If you'd like to see it..
VO : Yes please
Me : (I gave the document).
VO : So, What is your company doing?
Me : We're working on YYYY and ZZZ.
VO : Yes, Please explain.

VO : (Looks interested), How are you going to monetize this?

My Advice - Be confident and answer clearly. You have to understand that there are some elibility criterias. Travel history, your job, purpose of travel everything counts. They are trained to presume all applicants are illegal immigrants. And they have 2 or 3 minutes to judge you. They deal with 100s of applications everyday. So, they have no time for detailed verification.

my company deal in Agro commodities in international market
our new client invited to me for start business relation they need payment credit facility from us. so i want to see his business setup and everything, but VO have ask some question and refused. in 30 second.
Now i want to applied again in month of May, this time i want to visit Food exhibition i have got invitation from exhibition organisation, our purpose of visit is find supplier of agro commodities
