No email from NY CVAC yet
Hi,
My passport packet was delivered at 11:30 am today at the NY CVAC but I haven't received any email from the yet confirming the same. Do you guys know how long does it usually takes to get an email from them? Also, is there a way I could find it whether or not they have received my passport?

PS: The USPS tracking shows its delivered to the right address but doesn't mention the Floor and the organization name (CVAC) hence I am worries if it actually made it all the way or just at the building front desk.

Applying for Canada Visitor Visa
We received the passport request letter and sent everything to Canada Visa Application Center, New York on 4/27. I just received my Track ID number today 4/30. When I check the status of our applications online, it indicates that there are some missing documentation and an email has been sent to me for explanation the details. However, the email I received (attached below) doesn't have any details.

Applied for Canada Visitor Visa.
Hello All. I applied for Canada visit visa for my parents who are currently in US on visitor visa. When contacted IRCC to ask how to upload a missing document they have suggested to do it through a web form. I have been asked to select which processing center my visa is sent to while using the web form.
How to find out which visa center application is sent to LA or NEWYORK?

Am trying to go to visit (tourist) Canada. What are the documents required going from the United States? I don’t have a green card yet. I just have a EAD card. Can I scan my EAD CARD while applying for visa.
I know AP is the Document required when coming back to the states. Do I need that too while getting the visa or the EAD is okay.
Am on the verge of applying for an AP from USCIS.

Question about NY VAC
Hi,
Had a few questions related to the NY VAC and the process. Would be grateful if someone could answer it for me.
1. I received a letter for passport submission. I have already submitted by biometrics at a local ASC in Atlanta. Do I have to send in proof of that submission?
2. This is what I have as the address of the NY VAC.

145 WEST 45th street, 4th floor
New York, NY 10036
Can you please confirm this is the address where you all sent your passport?
3. Who should I make the money order payable to - VFS Services (USA) Inc or TT Services?!
4. The amount is $19.90 correct? I don't have to pay the 'Assisted Service-Paper Applications', correct? I applied online.

Canada Visiting visa
I have applied Canada visiting visa for myself, spouse and kid on 04/05/19 . Visa got approved for myself and my husband but my kids application is still in submitted status only since the day I applied . There is no biometrics for him as he is under 14 , but I am so worried why it was delaying .
04/05 - Submitted application
04/06 - Got biometrics for myself and spouse
04/15 - Gave biometrics and reflected on the same day
04/16 - Got passport request only for me and spouse
04/24 - Visa approved notification for me and spouse
No update regarding my kids application though I submitted webform .
Any thoughts and did any one experiencing this like no update from the submission?
Appling another application only for him will be a better idea as I have PAI scheduled in Ottawa on May 13 .
Please advise.

Canada Workpermit processing time from UAE
My company's lawyer has applied the work permit (LMIA Exempt - Inter company Transfer) application online on 2 Jan 2019 (UAE-Abudhabi Visa Center). Following is the time line;
2-Jan-19 : Online application submitted
3-Jan-19 : Bio metrics Collection letter received
6-Jan-19 : Bio metrics enrollment completed
8-Jan-19 : Medical examination completed (PASS).
From 8-Jan-19 until now I have not received any approval or further update from IRCC.
Is anyone have applied on same time? have you received approval or any communication from IRCC or Canada Visa center?

Hello everyone, Im on the process where I need to send the passport to the VAC on New York and Im really nervous and uncertain on what I need to do and I would really appreciate some help.
1) Do I have to put in the envelope: passport, letter from IRCC that requests my passport, one VAC consent form and contact information ?
2) Do I have to put the money order or cashier check on the same envelope and do I mail it to the same address on New York VAC as the passport ?
