Is anyone in the same boat? or does anybody has any comments?
I applied on July 15,2018
Finger print done by 08/08/2018
Got confirmation on "finger print" by 08/15/2018
After that no updates, nothing, nothing about approval on even about I-140.
Does this mean my I140 was already approved and they are generating the EAD?

EAD and Advance Parole
Hello everyone,
I have entered and been in US on F-1 status. While I was on F1-EAD, My father's(principal applicant) Immigration visa become available and I am a beneficiary as a child on that. I have applied I-485, I-765 and I-131 with I-130 approval on 16th July 2018.

I am planning on traveling to India on 19th December. What are the odds of getting Advance Parole before that? What are the chances of getting AP before 19th DEC if i receive RFE? Please let me know your thought guys.

Meanwhile when this process was going on, My employer filed my H1B and it is approved with change of status; I am on H1B now. If I don't get AP before I leave the country, Is it advisable to travel to India, get H1B stamped and re-enter US as H1B holder?

processing Center is NBC. I-765 and I-131 receipt date 16th July.

EAD and Advance Parole
I have been here on F1-OPT post completion (EAD valid from May 02, 2018 to April 02, 2019).
I applied for adjustment of status right after getting married in May 2018.

Here are the dates:
Application date: May 31, 2018
Receipt date: June 01, 2018
Cases applied concurrently: I-130, I-131, I-765, I-485.
The only update I got was for I-485 case with RFE on 10/19/2018. For rest of the cases I-130, I-131, I-765 there is no update, the online status only shows "my case was received..."

My questions are:
1) Is my I-131 advance parole delayed due receiving RFE for I-485 case?
2) I really need to travel to my home country, India ASAP (no later than November 15, 2018). How can I expedite the advance parole card?
3) I was told by many that the EAD/AP combo card will arrive within 120 days of the application, that is by October 1st, 2018. However, there is no update on my online status. How do I figure out if they are even working on my case or they haven't even started it?
4) The EAD card I applied based on F1-OPT earlier this year got approved in less 2.5 months. Now, why is it that the EAD/AP combo card taking forever? it been almost five months now.

Can someone help me in what to expect in my situation or what can I do to help myself?

Thank you!

Advanced Parole stamped on passport valid by itself?
Here is my situation:

I last entered US on Aug 22 2018 with an advance parole which is expired on October 2018.
Upon entry, I was stamped on my passport, and it shows like this:

Until: aug 21 2019
Purpose: DAa05 or DA 1705, can't read it exactly.

Since it says until Aug 21 2019, will that be enough to reenter, without submitting a new AP?
I assume not, because this will be easy, which is inconsistent with what I know about the process...
Planning to resubmit, but your input is appreciated

Traveled on AP in September
Hello everyone,

I am on EB2 row employment based GS. Passed my interview on Aug 23 and hit retrogression.

Decided to travel with my AP to Ukraine for 27 days (has not been there for 9years). My combo card never arrived, so I just traveled with my regular AP paper form.

Everything went well. I landed in Washington-Dulles, told passport control that I have AP. They gave me an orange slip and sent me to a separate room where I waited 15-20min for my turn (there were other people). The passport control officer checked my passport and the case in the database, put a stamp in the passport and let me proceed to my gate for domestic flight.

I worried about this experience too but everything went well. The officer was business but very courteous and said that I can travel more if needed with AP.

I filed in Feb 2018 and I got my EAD July 2018 my AP card was produced last month and I hope to receive it next month according to USCIS. NO update of any kind other than my i 485 is still under normal processing time according to the letter I received from USCIS Yesterday. MY concern is, is it save to travel with my AP when my case is still pending? Honestly I am afraid. My wife said we should go that we will be fine BUT i need some level of assurance my lawyer said he has not comment either I should travel or not. OR SHOULD I TRAVEL ALONE ? Please advice me from experience has any ever had issues returning back to the US on AP after overstaying his or her B1B2 visa? thanks.
