This is stressful
I check this forum every day. To be fair it keeps me in good spirits because I see people getting approved and I know how happy they are. I want to be that happy too. I know people are here waiting longer than me but my god this feels like forever. You wake up check the app 70000 times to see no updates lol. I have had my 485 at scheduled for interview for 50 days lol. My EAD has been at fingerprint approved for 75 days and the overall time since I submitted my application is 105 days. Those 105 days feels like 3 years lol. I try to go out and run and do stuff to ease my mind but this is hard lol.

PD August 27
Bio. September 25
Bio approved September 26
Case to be scheduled October 24

Nothing since.... please at least give me the EAD I BEG.

Expedite request experience, anyone?
Hi Fam!
A SLC filer, PD was 7/18/2019. And my files are in NBC.
I need to travel abroad in Feb 2020, and I need to get back to work asap.
The wait has been so frustrating especially after they sent a RFIE regarding birth certificate, which I had already submitted in the original file. I feel that they are just doing this to drag the process.

I just called USCIS live agent and filed expedite request for i131(travel permit) and i765(work authorization)

All she said was to watch out for emails regarding information if they need any before they decide to move on with expedite process or not. Is there anyone who filed expedite requests? And if then, what evidences did they request? And how did it all go? Please share your experience!

I am going to do whatever I can do in my power.
I need your advice!

Make sure to review your paperwork!!!
Hi Guys!

I’m marriage-based AOS with a PD of 26 Dec 2018 (DC area), and got my notice by mail for my interview on 10 Dec 2019. Everything was going smooth at the interview until the officer reviewed the medical examination document, specifically the vaccination sheet. My Doctor had forgot to fill the very last page stating weather or not I met the Vaccination criteria.

The officer was nice enough to let me and my husband make a million calls to reach someone to help us at the clinic, and we did! However, I am frustrated that either the Dr, my attorney or me picked it up.

My attorney had previously made some mistakes too, but that’s a story for another day.

In short, make sure to review EVERY paper yourself even if you hired someone to do it for you.

My case is now: Interview was completed and case must be reviewed. Hopefully this is good.

Medical RFE not received and now expired
I had my I485 interview on 09/26 and it went well. Officer said that my medical is expired and he will send a RFE. I have not received anything yet and the case status also says the my interview is completed and my case must be received. I130 was approved on the same date.

I called and spoke with USCIS today and they mentioned that the RFE was sent on 09/27, however I never received any mail correspondence and the case status still says “Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed”. The office mentioned that you were suppose to respond by 11/15 and now you RFE is expired.

What should I do now? Me and my attorney never revecived the RFE.

Please advise.

Adjustment of status from Daca -marriage based
Hello I have been a silent reader for over a month. I’m currently a Daca holder which expires March/2020. Me and my wife got married in September and we filed in October.
Pd- 10/21
Biometrics done and reviewed 11/18
Nothing changed since then I know it a bit soon to ask but I’m just curios. My lawyer used my income because I make 70k working legally with Daca for 6 years. My wife doesn’t make enough to sponsor me because she is going back to school in January. Should I be worried? I make enough for both of us. Should I also expedite my ead or is it too soon. I’m worried that my current one will expire and I’ll be stuck without a job in March.
Thank you for reading!
