If you are still in asylum status, you should not renewal your passport.

If you get your green card, and your passport renewal does not contradict your asylum claim, then you are free to do so.

Already have gotten my green card, but how would they know if I renew my country’s passport that I claimed on..

During the interview they will need to review your travel history.

More likely than not you need to show your passport.

But I won’t use my country’s passport for traveling, just giving a copy as requested to the country where I will authenticate my marriage in ( my fiancé’s country )

            It doesn't matter.

Like I said, the point is you should not contradict your asylum claim.

As long as that is the case, doesn't matter they know you have the passport or not.

I live in Georgia & I am wondering why my case was transferred to the USCIS Denver field office.

                    Might be 5 years.

but regardless, there is no point guessing that nor is it a guarantee.

They can request biometrics on a case-by-case basise.

As I said, it's completely useless to second guessing what it means or why.

Sometimes they need to rerun an expired security checks.

there is nothing you can do with reuse / no reuse.

You can only wait. Don't worry about things that is completely out of your control.

                              • Hi everyone! I received my green card a week ago and I just realize the residence date is the approval date, not the 1 year back date. Who I should contact to have it fixed?

                                Thanks
