Today my spouse got FP notice from INS California office (Address at CA) But I have not yet got FP notice(My address OH) But I am expecting to get FP notice very soon from NSC

My RD:July and ND: Aug

Any idea how much time it will take to get GC after FP

You should be getting notice sometime next week.
The time is abt 5-6 weeks after they recieve the appln.

My understanding is that the new computer program generates FP notices after 90 days from the receive date.
I got mine like this.
Any addiotns / exceptions???

My 90 days will be over by Dec 17th. Any idea what happens if somebody is laidoff after getting EAD and before 180 days?

180 days

One needs to stick for 180 days with same company...
Thats a must and later u can join some other com in same field for which u filed 485.

Some people in these cases also work for some days a week to be at least on the payroll of the co.

Thats all I know. Any progess on FP.??

Depends on the FP Location.
I got a solid 3 week advance notification. Most of the FP Locations work TUE - SAT (SUN, MON - Closed)
My location is Chicago North-West Suburbs. I got appointment with Harlem Office.

NSC is really fast

Hi everyone

We sent our I-485, EAD and AP applications on 23rd Nov 2001. The RD is 26th Nov 2001.

We received our approved EAD cards and AP documents on 24th December.... thats less than a month!!

However we haven't received the receipt for I-485 yet. that supposed to come before the EAD and AP? How long does the I-485 receipt take to come nowadays? Also when does NSC inform about fingerprinting?
