  • Guys, I don’t know if it helps, but here’s the index page of all the documents we had in our folder.
As for the meeting, I didn’t expect to find such a kind immigration officer. He was really playful the whole time, making us really comfortable and joking that he wanted to get the interview done so we could all go to lunch.
He asked us to tell our story in the most colorful way and that it was important that we’d both jumped in into each other’s story. He took note of everything we said, then he went over the form with my husband and then with me with I-485 form. Then he asked for the documents, he kept 6 photos and some documents... tax return, affidavits, the last paystub and something else I am probably forgetting. We were approved on the spot... and 5 minutes later status changed to “new card is being produced”.

I’d like to thank everyone in this forum... even when not helping me directly, but just for everyone being here, sharing experiences and helping others.
Well, without further ado, here is the list of papers. Good luck everyone and stay strong. Feel free to ask any questions.

Thank you so much for the list! It is so true that this group is a great support while waiting for the USCIS status updates and also being prepared ahead.

        • Hello everyone! I hope everything is doing well. We had our Marriage based green card interview today by 1pm which last almost 40minutes. We didn’t get approved on the spot but the officer said that everything turned out well but she needs to review the extra documnts we bring to the interview. By 4:30pm our case changed to “NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED”. It didn’t went to “CASE APPROVED”. We’re just wondering, is that the green card is it it the EAD?

It’s your green card! From what I’ve gathered, the I-130 case rarely gets updated to approved.

No news other than 'Fingerprint Review Was Completed' on my case number.
Is it taking longer for LPR spouses than USC?
It has been almost 4 months after my biometrics appointment and I am starting to get worried :/

Same for us. Then out of the sudden we got the 765 approved. But the 485 still shows "fingerprint fee received", not even Completed.
