Current Case status: Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview (Updated in Jan 2020)

Still waiting for interview date. Received Combo card in Jan 2020.

Yeah,crazy,huh? Well,today my receipt date was before the posted date for case inquiry- so,I did that for my I-765.Now again,coding fingers toes and everything else pfff... it's driving me nuts......

Finally our case status changed to 'ready for schedule interview' for i485 today
Also i765 tracking number says 'New card is being produced'


USCIS processing times were 5-7 months for EAD and it took exactly 219 days for 'New card is being produced' status. (NBC)

Last Thursday I created an inquiry, also I asked for help from a Senator's office. I am not sure if any of these helped, because the time between inquiry creation and status update was only 4 days. Maybe a coincidence.

Whatever.. It has been a long, exhausting wait for us. I wish you guys a good luck.
I'll keep everyone updated once I receive the EAD

haha. I totally understand. I'm always thrilled to see any status update message from USCIS. USCIS likes to maintain the suspense with their randomness, I guess.
But I think they are getting faster in scheduling interviews in Bay Area.
Did you get your EAD yet?

Yeah, I got combocard at the end of November. Not risking though getting outside US for long vacation (which is long due).

i485: Your interview is scheduled

today status changes on 130/485 : case transferred to another office ? What does this mean

Yes mine was filed at NBC. Marriage based. IR-1. I’m hoping you’re right but it has been “ready to schedule interview” since three months.
So what were they doing until now !

not much,obviously. Mine is at NBC,too.i'm in California, just made a case inquiry for I-765 a few days ago,cause outside normal processing time Also,no response or decision yet for both RFE.....they are giving us timeframes to respond, but THEY seem to have no time guidelines, or don't care

Okay! Last week received an notification, and today received an message in mail - our interview is gonna happen 24th of March in San Jose field office. Wish us luck



7/31/19 - Applied for AOS/EAD/AP
8/12/19 - NOA for AOS/EAD/AP
9/5/19 - Biometrics done in San Jose
9/6/19 - Fingerprint review completed
11/14/19 - Case is ready to be scheduled for the interview; Combocards sent out.
02/18/20 - Interview is scheduled
03/24/20 - Interview...

@nayward: wooho,great! I got last Friday notification, too.And yesterday: your interview has been scheduled!!now waiting for the letter with the date! San Fernando valley field office! Still no EAD though
