The interview is scheduled! Didn't expect it to be so fast after RFIE. Don't know the date yet.

My field office should be either Chicago or St Louis. Based on my zip code, the field office should be Chicago. But we listed St Louis as the field office we want to take the interview when we filled the i130 form because that's where my husband currently lives.

I responded to the RFE and USCIS received my response on 11/29 and today 12/6, I finally got the update that my Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview! HALLELUJAH!!!!

Finally, fingers crossed you will get the notice by end of this month. start gathering evidence for your marriage including kids Birth Certificates .

But how long will it take to actually schedule interview. ? it is so variable here that one can hardly make an educated guess.

Mine is ready to be scheduled since oct 02 almost same timeline and NBC July 10. They are super slow I guess. No update no EAD.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be that quick. I’ve been checking timelines of other Newark,NJ filers and everyone gets their interviews scheduled after 9-11 months from filing! So I’ve got a lot of time ahead, I think! But still gathering my docs

I checked each and every service center NBC is the slowest. It is just our bad luck to be at NBC. Every other service is almost done with half of july..
