Do you guys think it’s an RFE? Or what else could it be? What can I expect???
Ires it all depends on what documents you submitted. If you missed any of the critical documents like birth certificate, i864, tax documents, marriage certificate, then it could be a rfe or rfie. In case you didn’t submit i693 at the time of filing then it could be a courtesy letter for medical. Good lucky i am rooting for it to be a courtesy letter.

I submitted all of the ones you mentioned except the tax returns as my husband didn’t work in past 3 years so he wasn’t required to file. But we submitted a letter of employment that he has a job now. So I don’t know. I am really scared

okay, so it might not be the Courtesy letter, but even if it is an RFE that means your case it being worked upon. look at the bright side of the things.

          • I filed in July as well.

            7/31/2019 Applied for AOS/EAD/AP
            8/15/2019 NOA1
            9/06/2019 Biometrics
10/09/2019 Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview

Field office: San Francisco, but I filed AR-11 for CoA last week, and right now I live near San Jose. Change of Address seems to be hell of a process so I just pray to receive all the future letters somehow :/

            • Hi all,

Filled in July. Moving from L1b, my family are as a dependents.

              7/31 - Applied for AOS/EAD/AP
              8/12 - NOA for AOS/EAD/AP
9/5 - Biometrics done in San Jose
              9/6 - Fingerprint review completed
              ... - waiting

I see a lot of people already got their interview scheduled. Is that normal to wait for it for almost 2 months?

              Thanks!

yes, you need to sign 130A with all your details (figuring out where i stayed for the last 5 years was a pain)

this is a RFIE, so they wont be sending courtesy letter, once everything is in order they will request 693. btw add your field office in the signature as well.

                    Best of luck.

What is the RFE for? Is it for i-485 case? Good that they started reviewing your case.

They want my husband’s pay stubs for the last 6 months and emplyoment letter which was already sent to them and they also want my join sponsor’s most recent Federax income tax return or tax return transcript.

Even I didn't submit 6 months paystubs. I just submitted my spouse's employment letter, the recent tax return form and past three years' IRS tax return transcripts.
I have read somewhere that USCIS prefers the IRS tax return transcript, which you can get online: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

I see a lot of people already got their interview scheduled. Is that normal to wait for it for almost 2 months?

                                Thanks!
HI nayward , I think it is normal to not have any updates for two months. Don't think USCIS will be any faster, once the holiday season start either.

Good to see you and olyarism are in San Jose field office now. The waiting time for San Jose for an AOS interview seem to be 14 months now.
I really hope USCIS transfer my case from San Francisco to San Jose.
