1/22/20 Interview was scheduled (2/26)
2/26 Interview date, approved on the spot- 'new card is being produce'(11:50am)- 'case was approved' (2:00pm)
2/28 card was mailed to me

Status on i-765 changed today to ‘new card is being produced’, no update on 485 though.

Caligirl, Thank you! I did not expedite. My PD is July 26th, i raised an SR last week before they changed the date for inquiry back to July 12th.

Oh,ok.i did that on February 11th, too,before they changed the date. I'm supposed to get a response until tomorrow.... not sure,if it affects, that they raised the processing time AGAIN,after I made the case inquiry.....

I was expecting some updates on 485 like sfjuly2019 that they would make a decision on everything during the interview. I’m now worried that my 485 will take more time and the chicago field office is very slow.

Oh,well....my field office was kinda quick with scheduling my interview, I was surprised I had a RFE for I-=485 and they didn't take that long to review it.way glad about that.did you check processing times for Chicago, is that your field office? You got interview date already?

Interview is not scheduled yet, 485 is still in finger prints status. Yes, chicago is my FO, processing time is between 6 and 24 months. Not sure if i have an option to raise an SR on 485 anytime soon.

Up to 24 months???omg....that's ridiculous I hope,it goes faster! Yes,keep an eye on processing times, so you can raise a case inquiry, when possible. At least you'll get the EAD, so you can start working!

I don't think, I'll get my EAD, cause of the interview already scheduled for end of march.At least,the company is waiting for me to get my papers! Really grateful for that!

I’m on h1b. If i use ead, my h1b status will be abandoned and if something goes wrong with 485, i will be out of status and ead will also be revoked. I think they approve all your applications during the interview, good that your company is waiting.
