I received my green card just now. It has 10 years validity, even though I am just married for one year now!

I think I got saved from the conditional green card and removal of conditions somehow.

sf2019july : I'm still trying to wrap my head around your 10_year gc- I looked it up.It is a mistake on uscis side,but YOU are responsible to correct that With form I-90, cause of uscis mistake: no fees.I know,it really sucks,but.....yeah I'm sorry. Don't take my word for it,just Google it There should be threads even here in this forum. Just hope,you still read this forum!!

Sorry to say but if USCIS makes a mistake is our responsibility to report it and fix the situation. Not fixing this error may bring problems in the future.

Trini0616 : yes,gathering all documents, copies,pics etc- interview on March 30th finally, it was a long journey, now hopefully crossing the finish line!

Caligirl Enub4 Thank you for your messages. Even I was reading about it, since I was confused. At first, I thought I got really lucky somehow. lol. I submitted i-90 form online to get a replacement conditional green card, to correct the USCIS mistake. If I do not correct it, it might be a problem after 2 years. Better safe than sorry.

I just applied for an unrestricted social security card today. They said I should receive the new social security card within 8-10 days.
