Ok,so here's my experience- keep in mind,EVERY interview is different and most likely depends on the officer that's interviewing you!
Appointment was at 8:15 am at San Fernando valley field office, got there 15 minutes earlier, went through security and then to windows3,4,and 3 again for signing in ,pics and fingerprints taken and received our number- waited until ~ 8:30,then our female officer called us in. And,the weird experience beganBecause I read soooo much here & elsewhere about interview experiences, I felt confident about being informed and well prepared, what kind of questions to expect and so on. Well....yeah....first example: everybody said, the officer is going to ask about your spouse's date, place of birth, and his/her parents- nope, instead she asked ME about MY legal name, date, place of birth, my parents names- all while looking at my ID,passport and original birth certificate. She did the same with my wife.We were sooo confused!
I also prepared a huge binder with all the already submitted plus new evidence, pics etc-including table of contents- like a saw in many helpful posts here.....well,she didn't want it,at all.Instead,I had to basically ripp it apart and she asked me for some single itemsShe also wanted to see the original bank statements, matching the copies- and keep those, because according to her,the copies were blurry....well,you guessed already- the copies were perfectly fine, but ok,whatever.
Next were the yes/no questions of the I-485: first she seriously asked me,if it would be ok,if my wife stays in the room?....wait,what?? Huh?? So,I said, yes of course- even more confused. At that point,I really thought: great,we ended up with the weirdest person in this building and this is not going well. She also kept saying: I'm going to make changes on your application and tell you at the end,how many I made. ......?? Again,huh??.... So,after we were done with those questions she was flipping pages back and forth....handed me a white sheet that said: we don't need any further documents, case under review. She told me,she's going to look at my background check and if that's fine, she's most likely to approve the case the same day! .....well,we did not really expect that! But,huge relief- and while we were driving back home, I got the emails about card being ordered and I-130/485 approved!!!!
It was the craziest thing ever,to be honest. But at the end: all that matters is: approved. And again: every interview is different! And I bet, mine was not the most common onePlease, everyone reading this: don't get spooked, worried or so- just be prepared and be you!

The original statements that I fortunately get by mail from my bank. She did not accept or take the printouts of my online banking statements. Eventhoug they're pretty much the sameAnd,the only difference between the origand the copy of my bankstatement was the color in wich the name of the bank appears: original = blue-copy= black

Well,I'm not sure- if you have chosen to get online only statements, cause of paperreduction, paper reduction, should explain that at your interview. We have for example only online statements for our cellphone plan and with that the officer did not haany issue.
