from what I’m getting it means you should not get medical done more than 60 before you submit your AOS application. I’m on the same boat, medical done in February for March interview but from what I’m getting once application is submitted and you go get medical done it will be valid for two years.
my interview is August, I’m a June 2019 applicant

JRI, you're right, the problem is,if you do your medical shortly before your originally for March scheduled interview, but that got cancelled cause of Covid....it's unfortunate, but it's maybe not valid anymore, depending on when the new interview date will be. I think, they should be fair and say,it's fine- cause it's not our fault....right?

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know what exactly is form G-56?
Me and my husband got married May of last year and I filed for I-485 in the summer based on his application. He filed for EB2 and I was the dependent. His interview was before mine and he got his GC before my interview. Around Nov of last year I had my interview and April of this year (after a couple of months after interview) I got my GC as well. A week ago, I received a form which is G-56 and the reason for appointment is "I-485 application to register permanent residence or adjust status". I believe I have to meet the same officer who interviewed me. Also the recipient of the letter is me and not my husband.
Please let me know if you have any information about this and what should I prepare for this office visit (maybe second interview)
