Hi guys!
Just today i got a new notification for my I-485 thru Lawfully app (dont get any notifications email/text thru my uscis online account so I tried this app and to my surprise its updated every time there’s new changes to my application):
Interview cancelled: On Sept 3, 2020 we cancelled or descheduled the interview scheduled for your form I-485. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
My last status was Case ready to be scheduled for interview before i got this notification above and never had or received a letter that i got an appointment for interview.
Now for my fellow October ‘19 mates that got their interview waived and already finished their journey, did you guys had this notification too before you found out your interview was waived? Somehow hoping here haha.
Also remember that one of you guys have Santa Ana as their FO as well. Any update on your journey? (Sorry if i forgot your user name, its been a while that I checked here as i got busy with my 1st born and cant find our previous conversation on this thread)
Lastly, congrats to everyone that got their GCs already!!!

Hi Everyone,
I just want to give an update. It's been a while since I last posted here
So after my interview was cancelled in 3/4/2020, my case updated to "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview" on 3/19/2020.
My lawyer suggested that since I made a change of address, my files were probably transferred to new FO and is in queue for interview scheduling.
Then COVID-19 came and there were no updates for 5.5 months.
Last 9/2/2020, my case FINALLY updated to Interview Was Scheduled. I'm so happy! I am almost towards the end of my journey.
Lift up everything to God! Good luck everyone!

By the way, are you planning to renew your i-765 and i-131? Mine is going to expire in January 2021, and I don't think I will be getting my green card by then.....at least looking at Santa Ana's processing time.Last edited by gustavogei; 09-10-2020, 07:21 PM.

As far as renewing EAD and AP, there are new EAD forms that we need to download with bars on the forms, and the form changed a little bit. I think the AP for didn't change, but double check. I read that we need to send 4 new photos, the copy of i-485 notice receipt. We can still file together, but for AP it has to be 120 days unlike 180 days for EAD. I still need to see where to file though, could it be the chicago lockbox again?
