i have another update

My Timeline:

5/7: Filed I140/I485/I765/I131 concurrent marriage based
5/14: Received at USCIS chicago lockbox
8/27: Expedite request for form 1-131 (Humanitarian Reason)
10/26:Contacted Ombudsman for assistance on the case
11/2: Ombudsman e-mailed the biometrics notice for 11/30
11/6: Got the appointment letter via post
11/30: Biometrics appointment attended
11/30: Case I-485/I-1765/I-131 updated to show "case was updated to show fingerprints were taken"
12/01: I-765 got updated to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Stupid question i guess, my 1-131 did not get updated saying it's approved or anything. It still says "case was updated to show fingerprints were taken",,,so does that mean i am getting a combo card or something different ?

Question for all of applicants who got their EAD combo cards and didn’t have a SSN.

Did you check that you will need a ssc on your application and when you received your EAD, was the SSN included?

Correct. My wife didn't had SSN, in fact, she actually received her SSN a day before her combo card

Does anyone have experience of interviewing jobs before receiving the work permit? How did it go? It seems once one receives an offer and submits the offer to USCIS to request expedite service, things would move way faster.

Congrats! Ever since I did my fingerprint, my case status has been showing "ready to be scheduled for an interview". How long does it take for your case to change from this status to actually be scheduled to a certain date?

HI guys so my date is 5-29 and also no updates on anything I just got my biometrics on 2-4-21 and the online has still not been updated? Does anyone know how long does that take? And I have not heard anyone get 131 approved is that true? Or are they really behind because the current date they are working on is Sep 10.

I did my biometrics mid august and my status changed within a few days to case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. However none of my I-130 or 1485 has been approved, it just went directly to case has been scheduled.

I think it depends where you are I saw some people who filed in July in New Mexico who already has their green card( so crazy) you did your biometrics so late holy smokes! I did my biometrics in august and got my I-131 in hand on Oct 10 and maybe a week following that I got my social security card.

Does your case start with MSC? My PD is 5/28/20, and USPS returned my bio notice in August 2020 and I finally managed to get it re-scheduled in November 2020. Now just endless waiting. I really need to work so that I can generate some income, but without the work permit, most employers don't want to hire me, and without the offer, I can't request USCIS to expedite my case. What a dilemma.
