Interesting. Mine is also MSC, and F2A, but Seattle field office. Current status: h1b. Not sure how they sequence the applications. If Seattle local field office was the bottleneck, I would expect the status to change to "waiting to schedule biometrics" or something along those lines. But, I see no updates

That's true. But USCIS has not yet updated it's directions after that ruling. This is the USCIS page about I-944 court orders, and was last updated on 10/9.

I received an e-mail today that a RFIE has been sent. I believe it is the I-944 so I have started to put it together. However, I’m doing a marriage based AOS and my husband filed taxes when he just started working so the adjusted income amount reflects income for 6 months however he actually makes over the poverty threshold amount for a household of two. How do I show proof of actual yearly income? We already have the letter of employment and paystubs. Help please (This is for I 944).

There is an injunction by a federal judge, the I-944 does not need to be included in the 485 application. Can you contact USCIS and speak to them about this, they should be aware of this. Good luck!

So I received a RFIE today. Just got the email notification, not the physical RFE yet, so I don't have the details. But I bet, it's a request for I-944 which I had not submitted along with my application back in August.

On November 10, 2020, we sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxx. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires.

Still waiting for biometrics appt letter and no response for SR.

My timeline so far:

June 30th 2020 PD........You guys may have to wait a little apparently.

-01/27/20: Same sex couple, married to USC.
-06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
-07/25/20: Checks cashed.
-07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
-07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
-08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
-09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to Lee-Summit's office.
-09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.
-10/27/2020: Called USCIS regarding biometrics appointment not yet scheduled. USCIS send E-Request to Chicago FO.
-11/10/2020: Immigration officer reaches out to me via phone call to explain the reason I haven't received a biometrics appointment, appointment will come eventually.
