So I received a RFIE today. Just got the email notification, not the physical RFE yet, so I don't have the details. But I bet, it's a request for I-944 which I had not submitted along with my application back in August.

I also received the RFE on Friday requsting for I944. Also didn't submit together with my I485 back in early August. Hopefully after they receive the I944 and then can arrange bio appointment.

I received the RFE on 11/13 and it was indeed about I-944 as expected. I responded to the RFE just yesterday. Hoping it moves forward in the process soon.

*** Received I-693 Deficiency Notice in the mail on 18Nov. My problem is that I already sent it together with my whole concurrent filing last August.
And Notice states DO NOT send any documents as it may cause a delay... wait for further instructions. So I will try to call USCIS and see how best to resolve their oversight. If not, guess I have to get Medical done again...

Received RFE today, they just asked for 2 passport photos. I am so confused. I sent 2 photos with the application and already did biometric where they took a photo :/

nice...indicates that they are working on your case. I am in EB1A India and pretty much the same timeline as yours. 10/22- biometric, 11/13 - Got EAD with parole

Received RFE for i944 on 11/18. Mailed response on 11/23 and they acknowledged receipt on 11/27.

My updated timeline for adjustment of status through marriage:

08/27/20 - Received I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131 (did not file I-944) at USCIS lockbox
09/15/20 - Charged my credit card for $1,760
09/20/20 - Received text confirmations for all forms
09/26/20 - Received NOA on all forms with notice date of 9/16/20
11/18/20 - Received RFE dated 11/12 for lack of i944 (no text or email notification)
11/23/20 - Mailed i944 and they acknowledged receipt on 11/27/20

Waiting for further steps.

Any update on the biometrics by far ? It's been more than 100 days since USCIS received fee for biometrics, do you think its okay to contact USCIS or wait until January 2021 as Holiday season is up ahead ?

My PD is 7/29. Been waiting for 120 days since the fingerprint fee was received...put in a request before and the response was meaningless. Today I asked Emma if I should put in another request, she told me I can't until it's another 30 days after the response...

FedEx'ed response on Friday, 12/04, delivered 12/07 10:30 am. 12/08 10:30 am status updated to reflect USCIS received my response. Completely unexpected that they updated in 24 hrs.

a lot has happened.
My wife has a heart arrhythmia condition. We were able to get a doctors note from her doctor back home sent over and had a certified translation made. The note basically said she has this condition and must be monitored and she needs to come home and get checked out. We used this as a HUMANITARIAN reason to expedite. Hint hint. When they requested we send all of the evidence via fax, We wrote a letter explaining that she needed to go see her doctor and can’t get medical care here in the states because she doesn’t have a social security number and the cost of out of pocket cardiologist visits here in the American health care system would cause us financial ruin. I’m a notary so I notarized the letter to make it more official. We sent this letter with the evidence. I don’t know if it helped but.. it got done.

uscis said we could not expedite because biometrics haven’t been taken.
Requested expedite for biometrics appointment.
11/10/2020 uscis approved biometrics expedite
11/12/2020 biometrics appointment and expedite request interview
11/13/2020 i485 ready to be scheduled for interview and
I131 received request for expedite
12/3/2020 request for expedite i131 denied. Uscis emailed request for more evidence
Faxed additional evidence on 12/3 with a notarized letter stating expedite request was for humanitarian reason
12/7/2020 EXPEDITE REQUEST APPROVED FOR i131
12/8/2020 I765 - new card being produced
