For 1) Are you doing the filing yourself. Otherwise only your lawyer can guide you on this. Or call USCIS. Never seen this before
2) Checks are cashed when they process and receipts are generated instantly. From there it is upto USPS but you should received within 7-10 business days. If you call or chat with USCIS you should be able to get the receipt numbers by providing your A-number.

Hi, looking for options still. Infact that was my question in the forum. Company cannot keep on payroll without work authorization. We have been terminated and will be onboarded once we have the necessary authorization.

Did you try expediting biometrics and EAD through congress person or senator ?
However what I’m hearing that biometric is must before you can even reach out to these folks - not sure and I’m also looking for some advise here

What is your processing center ?
typically within 90 days from notice date however few folks getting even much earlier and few still waiting

I gotta say, i thought maybe i had bad luck with how long it took to get my receipts (a month...) but seeing how many people are just receiving their receipts makes me feel very fortunate.

My timeline so far (Marriage Based, Long Island ASC):
10/05/2020 PD
11/08/2020 received txt message receipts
11/13/2020 received receipts in mail
01/29/2021 received biometrics app in mail for mid February

Idk if it made any difference but the from mid december i started going on chat with uscis once a week and asking to speak to a person, i would give my receipt numbers and ask if my biometrics was scheduled, they would always say no and give me a generic response about covid closings.

anyways hope you all get your biometric apps very soon!!

01) If USCIS sent notice for submission of form I-944 and not submitted yet but in between My Biometerics done . My question is would USCIS still be processed my case?

02) after submission of I -944 before deadline comes, will USCIS send me work authorization and SN automatically OR my husband will have to file for work authorization?

03) Will I get work Authorization before my interview done OR after interview done and approval of my case? generally what USCIS does in this scenario ?

Your questions seem complicated and may require attorney help but here's what I think. USCIS may have sent you biometrics notice but the next steps may be delayed because they may not start the background check that begins after biometrics.
Also, work authorization comes if you apply for it using form I765. If you haven't filed that form yet, you need to. You can get work authorization right away (giving it a few months to process). Don't know if not filing I944 impacts that. But you can call USCIS and check if I765 form can be processed without the I944.
