Hi fellow September 2021 filers! Let’s all gather and keep each other posted here.

How is everyone’s application? What pieces of evidence did you submit?

I submitted a portfolio containing the 751 form and pieces of evidence which altogether weighed almost 9 pounds! It included a lot of our joint financial and personal documents. Hopefully our application will be processed quick!

So according to Fedex, my packet was delivered today. I wonder when will I get an official acknowledgement from USCIS that they received it? I read here that it takes a few days for some and then it takes a while for some to get an acknowledgement/receipt from USCIS… hope to hear back from them soon.

I have read that it takes only a few days to get the initial receipt. Which USCIS office is local for you? I know we initially ship everything to Arizona.

We will be filing for my wife's ROC next Friday. Package is ready to go. Our local office is Los Angeles. Will post all updates here.

I am based in NY so I am assuming the local office for my application should be in NY as well. I shipped everything to AZ.

Still haven’t heard back from USCIS. Hopefully I do by tomorrow.

Finally got my i797 but they misspelled my middle name.

I requested to get it corrected online - will they send me a new i797 with the correct spelling?

I-751 package for my wife's ROC was mailed on Friday 9/10 and received on Saturday 9/11. Signed by T Wright.

09/11/21: CC charged
09/13/21: NOA 24month extension received; assigned to Texas Service Center

Update: I got the spelling of my name corrected and they sent me a new 797 for my 751 application. I got a 24-month extension after my conditional card expires.

My application was sent on Sep 9th. Haven't got the receipt yet. My temporary card will expire soon. Hopefully I will get it soon.

The only thing that will be shipped physically are the forms.
now my question is, when will I get the extension letter?
my 2year gc is expiring next month, the 21st.

i got my extension letter / 797 a week after they confirmed the receipt of my packet/application.

We mailed my wife's package on 9/10 and 24 months extension came one week later. Ours is WAC center (California service center). Wish you the best.
